Sigean African Reserve

African wildlife treasures at your fingertips

Created over 40 years ago, the Sigean African Reserve covers an area of 300 hectares and is home to some 3,800 animals. It boasts some 160 different species living in semi-liberty. From mammals to the rarest species of animal, all the African fauna can be found here in perfect harmony.

For your various wilderness walks, the Reserve offers two circuits that allow you to get a closer look at the various animals of the African savannah. These include

A 7.5-kilometre drive takes visitors on a tour of animals such as lions, panthers, Tibetan bears and the African Savannah. Another circuit, on foot, leads to the African plain.
